Alcatraz will assign you a time to depart the Pier 33 Landing. You will take the short 15 minute boat road to experience Alcatraz Island. Stay as long as you would like and return on any ferry boat each half hour.Â

Alcatraz portion provided by a third party companyÂ as a package. Restaurant of choice is only the food provider and does not handle any guest service issues on this package.

NOTE: We do not accept any requests for food (i.e Vegan/kosher/etc) and is subject only to whatever is on the menu. We will not offer refunds for any requests or items not on the menu.

I feel it was over priced for what I got. Many people paid 40 for the same package I paid 300. This doesn't make me very happy.

Was very beautiful historic in great shape wished we could have went into other buildings though I loved the gardens

The boat ride to get there was good. The prison was surreal-made you think twice about committing a crime. The lunch voucher a great idea. The restaurant (McCormick and Kuleto’s) was amazing

Our tour and lunch went off without any hiccups. We had a great time. I was a bit confused on how to access our tickets and lunch voucher but I was determined to figure it out before arriving to the dock.

Are departure time was pretty late, so I wish I could’ve chosen when to leave. It was so late that when we got back to land, Bubba Gump said they already had full capacity so we couldn’t even use our food voucher.

Hard to get tickets over the phone never could get the food voucher to come up On the phone so we missed out on the food but the tour of Alcatraz wasn't very good Could have got the tickets 1/3 of the price if I would have bought them at the gate

Like the tour but would have been nice to have a live person explaining instead of an audiobook . But the lunch coupon was very nice and you could pick were you want to go

The Alcatraz tour was great. The ferry to Alcatraz was good, and the organization at the dock was fine. However, the communications between Viator and me was poor. EMail links did not work or were circular. EMails saying click this link for tickets did not work. I received a time of departure (12:00PM) in an email saying to arrive 30 minutes before departure time, but no tickets or voucher. Left for Pier 33 early to ask about tickets. Got Alcatraz tickets at dock, but they knew nothing about lunch vouchers. A little before 11:30AM received an email from viator telling me to pick up the travel tickets at the dock (already done) and to print out the lunch vouchers at the hotel before leaving because phone vouchers would not be accepted (no time or place to get the lunch vouchers printed out at this point). Money for lunch vouchers was wasted. Don’t do the meal combo. In addition, went by the restaurant the voucher was for to see if they could do anything. They could not but their wait time was 1 hour and 45 minutes if we wanted to eat there. So even if we had the vouchers, the restaurant was too crowded to reasonably accommodate us. If would have been great to know typical wait times before making a selection.

It was easy to download the audio. The tram made it so much easier to get to the top. The staff was very accommodating as I utilize a cane to walk. The only negative is it was not clear to use the lunch voucher.
