I really loved the architect of the mansion. The painting in the ceiling were amazing. My tour guid was very knowledgeable.

If you are looking to book a tour of Newport, Peter is the guy! My husband & I booked a 3 hour tour which included a stop at one of the mansions (we chose Marble House). Peter is a native of Newport and is a wealth of knowledge regarding the history of Newport and all things related. He also has a very entertaining personality - you will not be bored!

Peter was a fantastic tour guide, very knowledgeable on the history of Newport and the amazing mansions he toured us by. He also had fun and interesting stories from being a native in Newport and was a helpful resource for things to do during our visit to Rhode Island. We definitely recommend him and the private tour is the way to go!

My wife and I found this trip on TripAdvisor. What a great choice. Our driver, Peter, was wonderful. He is a life long Newporter and he displayed all that knowledge during our tour. He was on time and phoned us with exact pickup location and time. He was enthusiastic and answered all our questions. Newport has so much history and Peter made us feel like we were locals. Thanks again for a wonderful day.

Peter was our driver and private tour guide. A Newport native, he knows the streets, points of interest, and history quite well. Peter presented a detailed account of all the above without sounding too academic or dry. One of our travelers(4 total) is by no means interested in history, but she found Peter's tour engaging and delightful. We all found him humorous, but not cheesy in any way. Our mansion choice was the Breakers, which was worth experiencing.

Our group of 8 visited New Port via cruise ship for a fall foliage cruise. We took a private tour with Peter. He was very knowledgeable of the area, very attentive to all of our needs. He texted two days before we arrived to confirm details and he was ready and waiting when we arrived. We had a wonderful day viewing many vintage homes in New Port, we toured the Breakers Mansion, walked on the cliff walk. One member in our party was in a wheel chair and Peter always took extra care with loading/unloading, ensuring parking was convenient to our location. I highly recommend touring with Peter,

Cruising Newport in Peter's MB ride was a complete pleasure. He's got an amazing grasp of the City from details on history, architecture, neighborhood folklore (as a lifetime local), restaurants and local entertainment. Peter's proud of his City and represents it well in his 3 hour tour including the Rose Cliff Mansion. He was responsive and punctual to our schedule and was a charming host for the day. I highly recommend Peter and the Native Newport Tours.
