Itinerary

Your Denali ATV tour starts with hotel pickup for the drive to the location where you'll begin riding your ATV.

Total tour time is 2.5 hours; you'll spend 1.5 hours on the trail, covering about 10 miles (16 km).

There are four types of ATVs available: one single-rider option and three multi-rider side-by-side options. Each ATV is 4-wheel-drive and has automatic transmission, and the side-by-side ATVs have roofs and windshields.

This was the most fun activity during our trip to Alaska. So much of our trip was traveling by bus and train. The ATV ride was terrific! Enjoyined driving through the river!

We did this trip in late August. It was so much fun! We chose the side by side rather than 4-wheelers, and I'm so glad as we would have been muddy from head to toe! It had rained so the puddles were pretty full. It was awesome! We made I think 3 or 4 scheduled stops for photo ops and what-not. The guides were very informative about the area and were pretty funny. We were heading back to Anchorage that afternoon to fly back home the next day. What an awesome way to end our trip!

We were lucky to have a rainy morning to make some puddles for our ride! We got wet and dirty and had a blast! We made several stops for some history, area information, and photo opportunities.

LOVED IT! Was worried about being in a big group and not being able to have fun but this was a blast! We were on 4 Wheelers and some were on Side by Sides - both looked like a lot of fun . . . all different terrain, lots of awesome views and great pic opportunities. Equipment was WELL MAINTAINED and felt completely safe. Highly recommend doing this!

We had so much fun on our 2.5 hour tour. My husband and I did the side by side which was a great time! The guides were funny, helpful and informative. We stopped at a couple of great view points and had a lot of fun going up and down the hills and through the water.

My husband and I went near the end of the season. I had rode the ATVs before but it was on flat land. This was up and down steep hills with big hoes that I thought I was going to cause the ATV to tilt but they do not tilt. I am older and felt the single rider was a lot of work. I loved riding the two rider with my husband doing the driving. The guides were very helpful, friendly, and informative. They were also patient and accommodating. I loved the views they took us to and even though it began to rain it was still fun.

This was an optional tour offered by our tour company. It was simply the best! From start to finish, some of the most fun ever. First, we were picked up at our hotel by a super personable driver who was happy to share facts and spin stories about AK as we went to the site in Healy. Then we were briefed, geared up and given a brief safety ride (very brief, very easy), and then we were off on a net work of trails climbing into the beautiful mountains just outside Denali National Park. Our guides/escorts were safety conscious but determined to let us enjoying this bumpy, muddy adventure. There were three stops along the way for photos, info/stories/legends. Two at higher elevations and one in a riverbed. It was a great, fun way to see a bit of Alaska and feel a little bit like a daredevil for a couple of hours. FYI, my travel buddy and I are both senior women, so don’t let age or gender deter you. Fun, fun, fun.

Enjoyed it a lot, single rider ATV is worth the experience. Initially it felt little tough but once you get the hang of it, its the memorable experiance. A must do thing to do

Can't begin to tell you how much we enjoyed this Tour. Our Lead Guide was "Moose". He was extremely knowledgable about the area and the history with the Denali Mountains. The entire operation from top to bottom was professional, courtesy and wanted to make us comfortable. Would recommend this tour to anyone.
