    We really enjoyed this tour! Simon was so personable and a wealth of information about the history of Charleston. And the food at every stop was excellent! It was a wonderful afternoon

    We had such an amazing time on our food tour! We enjoyed four stops of delicious foods to try while learning the history of how this delicious cuisine started in Charleston. I highly recommend it!

    Love, loved this tour! It was beyond expectation when it came to the food (lots of it!) and the information received from the tour! Our guide (I'm so sorry I can't remember her name) but she was just full of interesting stories and historical information which made me want to read my history books more! The food was delicious and unigue to southern South Carolina. We also enjoyed getting to know the other people on our tour which made the whole experience just delightful.

    We had a wonderful walking tour of Charleston today. Dana brought us to three restaurants sharing the history of the town as well as the history of the restaurants we visited. It was so much fun to try the different foods and find out the backstory of the foods and local establishments. Dana was engaging and delightful. We truly enjoyed the experience.

    Foodie tours are something I enjoy whenever visiting a new city and have always been fun. We enjoyed this one for the most part although none of the 4 of us would recommend it to anyone. Most of these tours have 5 destinations, this one offers 4. It is actually 3 as the last one is back at their own meeting destination where they have a couch and seats and they bring a tray of cupcakes and cookies out. We were all disappointed as this was not a restaurant destination that added anything to our trip. Also, the photo you see in the ad of 5 shrimp on grits is misleading. That destination included one shrimp on a little mound of grits; rather than a cup of she-crab soup, we were each served a condiment-type plastic bowl with a cover. For a 2.5 hour tour we spent both the beginning and end at their meeting destination chatting, it would have been much more enjoyable and worth the money to add another destination. What I heard after the tour was that imagine the dinner each could have had for $85 per person. .John was a nice guide.

    John was our guide and he was amazing! Very informative!! Loved all of the food and it was fun to learn about the origins of the food!

    The overall tour was a disappointment. The guide was great but the selection of restaurants and food were way below par for the cost.

    Our tour with John Mulherin was absolutely GREAT, lots of fun and so delish ! John is very interesting and very knowledgeable and took us to some GREAT restaurants with such a good variety of food, that we normally don't get the opportunity to eat. What an outstanding tour and tour guide ! If you ever get the chance to go on one of John's tours, I surely hope y'all do !
